AirTag is a new product from Apple, so many users have many questions during the process. The labels were created to make life easier for owners of "apple" gadgets who are constantly losing keys or other things.
Given all the capabilities of this device, many are concerned about whether it is possible that the functionality of AirTag will be used against the owner of the label. Cupertino claims that they have taken full care of security and that no problems should arise.
If the thing with the label is lost, it is enough to open the "Locator" application and AirTag will start making a sound, through which the thing can be easily found by its owner.
How are AirTag tags arranged?
The label consists of a number of components that help it perform its main functions:
- Bluetooth module for data transmission;
- broadband chip;
- NFC label for fast connection;
- flat-shaped replaceable LiPo battery;
- a speaker that helps the owner find a lost item;
- Case-case, which protects the gadget from dust and moisture.
Why buy AirTag tags?
The main task of labels is search. The company claims that the main function of this gadget is possible thanks to Precision Finding technology, but does not say what exactly is the secret. High-precision search can be performed within a room, house or apartment. And the general algorithm of work is carried out as follows: communication of two chips U1 gives the chance to define distance and the direction among themselves.
All data is displayed via the Locator application. It is with his help that the search for the lost thing takes place.
At the same time, only owners of iPhones of the 11th and 12th generations can use the labels. It is worth noting that the Precision Finding technology with which labels work is still not available in the former CIS countries, including Ukraine.
